Topic of Choice: Media and Politics

A huge amount of people in the United States rely solely on the news as their political informer. The problem is that there is no television station that is completely indifferent with no leanings. This means that the majority of information people receive has been twisted to some degree by the networks, and the majority of these are more liberal than conservative. FOX news is the one consistent major network that has a conservative slant. Republicans can watch FOX and get their political views equalled by the stories and analysis they see, and Democrats can watch NBC or CBS and have the same effect. For those "in-between-ers" however, there is no middle ground, and proper opinions can not be formed on a particular subject with these leanings.
