Biggest Issue Facing Virginia: The Economy

The economy has hit most places very hard. Unemployment rates are still getting higher, people do not have the kind of money they used to. Small businesses can't hold up and the terrible housing market is causing tens of thousands of people to lose their homes. Obviously relief won't come in just one place, but in the nation as a whole. Us Virginians must continue to suffer through like everyone else and wait for the rough cycle to start to shift to the positive, which hopefully will be soon! The DOW closed above 10,000 for the first time in about a year, and is just below tonight.

  1. I agree that the biggest issue facing Virginia is the economy. We definitely don't have the kind of money we used to have and certainly don't spend what we do have the way we used to. The economy is making a turn around, but we haven't felt any immediate affects. Hopefully things will continue to get better from here on out.
